Gemma Chambers
After completing her degree in Sociology. Gemma was interested in the way that society impacts upon the lives of individuals: in terms of education, health, media, politics and how these topics affect individuals in society. Especially those who are vulnerable, or not able to access resources or able to voice opinions and make choices for themselves.
Gemma has previously worked in retail for over 5 years. She learnt valuable skills such as communication skills, enabling her to create relationships with customers. She was also given responsibilities, which included staff training and became a valued member of the team.
By joining Social Enterprise Search 'SES', Gemma believes that SES will give greater access for information to all, and allowing Social Enterprises to develop, which will impact on society through the benefits Social Enterprise businesses provide.
